Safe Hands principal consultant, Mark worked for 17 years as a Clinical Physiotherapist treating an array of work-related injuries across a variety of industries. In that time he developed a strong committment to preventing injuries rather than treating them.

Mark has been working in Safety for three years, much of that time spent with the Townsville Health Servide district. He is experienced in working across a diverse range of services including, Food preparation and Distribution, Cleaning and Hotel services, Storage and Logistics, as well as Clinical and Scientific departments. While he is experienced in working within a large organisation, he has also worked well with small and at times, geographically isolated work units.

* Registered Return to Work Coordinator and WorkPlace Health and Safety Officer
* Cert IV in OH&S; Cert IV in TAE; Diploma in Sustainability (nearing completion)

- 17 years working as a Physiotherapist with a focus on the treatment and prevention of Occupational injuries

- 6 Months working as a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Officer with Townsville Health Servie District

- 3 years working in Manual Handling and Ergonomics with Townsville Health Service District
